A number of teachers assign summer work which students must turn in when they return to school in the fall.
One of our Seniors Maya M. is opening for the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival on June 21st!
Maya is very excited to perform at the jazz festival, and she is hoping to continue performing at festivals around the country. However, her first will be in her hometown and she is overjoyed!
This past Saturday many of our students auditioned for placement into the Delaware All State Junior Band.

Congratulations to 8th grader Vlada G, our winner of the 2016 National Geographic Bee at Cab Calloway School of the Arts! Vlada will have the opportunity to compete against winners from other schools in Delaware in April to be selected as the Delaware State Champion.
