The 2016 Regional Scholatic Art Award winners are in, and the Communication Arts and Visual Arts departments are thrilled with the results!
The students earned a total of:
- 30 individual Gold Key Awards
- 30 individual Silver Key Awards
- 54 individual Honorable Mention Awards
- 3 Portfolios earned Gold Key Awards
- 1 Portfolio earned a Silver Key Award
- 2 Portfolios earned Honorable Mention
Seniors submitted portfolios that contain eight themed pieces. Katherine G entered two portfolios and earned Gold Keys for both! Ellie S also entered two portfolios and earned a Silver Key and an Honorable Mention.
All Gold Key winners will compete nationally in New York City; national winners will be announced in March.
All gold and silver winners will be on display at the Art Center Gallery, Delaware State University (DSU) from January 22 until February 6. An awards celebration is scheduled at DSU on February.
