The Cab Calloway Gym Uniform Shop is now open!
All students attending 6th – 10th grade at Cab Calloway will participate in gym class during the 2019 – 2020 school year and will need a gym uniform. (High School Dance Majors are the only students exempt from gym class and do not need a uniform.) If students in 11th-12th grade have scheduled gym as an elective, they will also need a gym uniform. If students do not already have a gym uniform, it must be purchased online through BSN Sports.
Gym uniform t-shirts are available in gray or purple. Please note some t-shirts are available in youth, women’s or unisex sizing. There are also women’s tights available as an option instead of shorts. Exact sizing information for all items can be found on the BSN Sports web store item information page. Please make sure you read the item’s description carefully before ordering. BSN does not accept returns or exchanges.
BSN’s website will be available from June 24 through July 22, 2019, and again from August 1 – August 12, 2019.
All orders placed on or before 7/22/2019 will be shipped before school begins and distributed during New Student Orientation/Ice Cream Social. Orders placed after 7/22/2019 will be shipped the second week of school and will need to be picked up at school. All uniform orders must be placed by 8/12/2019.
August will be here in just two months, and tryouts and practices for fall sports will be starting then. If you have a student going into 8th through 12th grade, then I urge you to please turn in your Sports physical sooner than later. Attached are the required forms. Please make sure that they are complete, so that your child is able to participate without any delays.
The absolute last day that anyone can turn in a physical for fall sports is August 9th. Tryouts start on August 12th and will not be accepted on that day. However, they will be accepted on the morning of August 13th 8 am to 9 am.

Students and teachers were invited to attend a ceremony at Carnegie Hall in NYC!
On Thursday June 6th Matthew J., Mariya T. & Mr. Greider attended the awards ceremony at Carnegie Hall in NYC. Katherine B., Matthew J. & Mariya T. all received National Gold Keys for their art and writing.

Cab Calloway School of the Arts’ 8th Grade Finale will be live streamed in two formats: Standard and 360 degrees. Please note, this is the first event our team is live streaming in 360 degrees, and, with that, there may be some pesky bugs we have to figure out! The standard stream will always be up if you have any issues with the 360 degree stream. Thank you for your patience in the event of any technical issues! Congratulations Class of 2023!
